Pregnancy Update Week 18-27
Hi everyone,
Sorry it has been awhile since I have updated the blog. We have been busy around here trying to move offices and update computers so we are ready for the baby to arrive in a few months.
The last few months have been pretty easy. Lots of energy, no heartburn, decent sleep.
After a second ultrasound we determined that our little bundle of joy is a baby girl. We have been calling her Josie every since. I really began to notice her kicks around week 22. (I was getting worried, at 20 weeks I did not feel much). She now kicks like crazy and you can see it through my clothes and feel it from the outside. My husband loves this!!
My energy has been high but is slowly starting to slow slightly as the season changes and my stomach continues to grow. I have noticed some mild back pain with to many twisting exercises or to many lunges. I also still cannot walk for longer then 50 minutes as I experience great bladder discomfort.
All in all, the last few months have been pretty uneventful and I have been able to maintain a high level of moderate activity without discomfort. I foresee more modifications coming in the next few months as getting up and down from the floor is slowly becoming harder, back pain is creeping ever so slightly and proper posture is becoming harder to maintain. All the more reason to keep plugging away and exercise as long as I comfortably can. Hopefully, up until the bitter end.
Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.
Keep healthy,
Amy
